What to Write on Your Personalised Star Map (Wording Ideas)

Every star map we make shows your names, a title for the occasion, and the place and date it happened. Getting the wording right is half the magic, so here are our favourite ideas and a few tips.
Names
Keep it simple: "Catherine & Steve", "Mum & Dad", or a single name for a birthday or new baby. First names usually look best, and nicknames work too if they're what you really call each other.

Choosing the place, date and time
Use the town or city and country, such as "Bristol, UK". We use the exact time to position the stars correctly, but it isn't printed, so if you're not sure, choose the closest time you remember. An evening time works well for "the night we met".
A few tips
- Shorter titles look more elegant: aim for two to five words.
- Double-check spellings and dates before ordering, as every print is made just for you.
